Haus Saron A to Z
Here you will find all important information about your stay sorted alphabetically.
- Most areas of our house are accessible without barriers, such as the dining hall, chapel and the elevators in Haus Saron.
- A disabled parking space is located behind Haus Saron.
- Please inform us of any allergies and/or food intolerances before your arrival.
- If you are unsure whether yours has been taken into account, please feel free to speak to us directly upon arrival.
- Unless otherwise agreed, you can check into your room from 4:30 PM onwards.
- On your departure day, we ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 AM.
- Sparkasse: Gartenstraße 1 (direction Effringen).
- Volksbank: Talstraße 21 (direction Nagold).
- You can borrow bed linen and/or towels from the reception desk for a fee.
- Cold beverages (with or without alcohol) and snacks are available around the clock:
- at the reception desk
- in Haus Saron, 1st floor, opposite the Saronstüble
- in the beverage room between the dining hall and chapel
- Wildberg train station offers connections to Nagold (10 min.), Horb (40 min.), Calw (10 min.), Bad Liebenzell (15 min.) and Pforzheim (40 min.).
- Buses also run to Herrenberg and Gärtringen, where there are S-Bahn stations.
- From there you can reach Stuttgart in about 30 minutes.
- Tickets are available at the machine or directly from the bus driver.
- On the 1st floor of Haus Saron you will find our Café Kibbuz – a cozy meeting place for conversations, playing games together or taking a short break.
- You also have access to a refrigerator for important items and a microwave.
- If you have forgotten a charging cable or adapter, ask at the reception desk. We have a small selection available.
- On the ground floor of Haus Zion (reception level) our chill room awaits you.
- Equipped with table football and darts, it offers space to relax and for social gatherings.
- The room will be unlocked for you upon request – simply contact the reception desk.
- Fancy a coffee break? At our machines at the reception desk and in the dining hall you can get various coffee specialties.
- By arrangement, we are happy to provide one or more additional group rooms. Please contact the reception desk for this.
- If you would like to print or copy documents, the reception desk will be happy to help you.
- This service is available for a small fee.
- If you notice that something is damaged, please report it to the reception desk immediately.
- Fancy a quick match?
- You will find our dartboard in the chill room – ideal for a relaxed round with friends.
- You can get darts from the reception desk for a deposit fee.
- For safety reasons, we only lend darts to guests aged 14 and over. Younger guests are of course welcome to play – but only together with an adult companion.

- Our digital guest information will accompany you throughout your entire stay.

- Simply scan the QR code at the reception desk or use the guest information directly via the link you will find in your room.
General Practitioner: Dr. Seizer-Schmidt (Tel. 07054.5168, Gartenstraße 1, in the Sparkasse building, direction Effringen).
Dentists: Dr. Wieland (Tel. 07054.92244, Talstraße 97) and Dr. Vrsevdi (Tel. 07054.7445, Talstraße 17).
In urgent or life-threatening situations, please call 112 directly.
- The rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors in Haus Saron, as well as all three floors in Haus Zion, are accessible by elevator.
- Please note that children and young people may only use the elevators when accompanied by an adult.
- In case of fire, elevators must not be used.
- For non-life-threatening emergencies (e.g. technical issues) that cannot wait until the next morning, please call our emergency number (posted at the reception desk).
- In life-threatening situations: 112 (emergency services) or 110 (police).
- You will find our excursion tips and further offers in our digital guest information. Simply scan the QR code at the reception desk or in your room.
- If you prefer to explore offline, the reception desk will be happy to help you or you can browse through our flyers.

- Please familiarize yourself with the escape routes in the buildings.
- In case of alarm: stay calm, close windows and doors, leave belongings behind, follow signs. Elevators must not be used.
- Meeting point: climbing wall on the lawn opposite the dining hall.
- You can borrow board games and outdoor toys from the reception desk.
- Feel free to ask about our other offers (e.g. footballs, volleyballs, darts, ...).
- If you need a toilet stool, toilet seat riser or high chair, simply contact the reception desk or the dining hall staff.

- If you have forgotten something (e.g. hair dryer, charging cable, toothbrush), contact the reception desk. We can usually help you.
- Discover our delicious farm ice cream in various flavors.
- Use our large lawn for football, badminton or Viking chess – you can get the equipment from the reception desk.
- You also have access to a climbing wall, a volleyball field and our chill room with table football and darts.
- The room is located on the ground floor of Haus Zion (reception level) and will be opened upon request.
- You can hand in letters and postcards at the reception desk at any time. Collection usually takes place Monday to Saturday.
- You will find a post office at Getränke Kern on Talstraße 57.
- Please always lock your room door. With your key you can open the main entrance doors of all buildings.
- After 10:00 PM the doors must be locked behind you.
- If a key is lost, report it to the reception desk immediately. Please note: in this case it may be necessary to replace the entire locking system – we may charge you for the costs.
- For hygiene reasons, all mattresses are fitted with protective covers. These look similar to regular fitted sheets, but are not intended as such.
- Please always make up the beds with a fitted sheet in addition.
- Sleeping without sheets or in a sleeping bag is not permitted.

- The current daily newspaper is available in the lobby in front of the reception desk.
- You will find the location of the parking spaces in the site plan (see last page).
- You can park directly in front of the reception desk for loading and unloading.
- A disabled parking space is located behind Haus Saron next to the chapel. From there, barrier-free access is possible.
- Above the buildings begins the "Path of Reflection" (start: between Haus Zion and Haus Saron).
- Please wear sturdy shoes and ensure good footing, as the path is mostly unpaved and sometimes steep.
- An accompanying booklet is available at the reception desk.
- Group leaders receive an invoice after departure.
- Individual guests settle their bill during their stay at the reception desk – in cash or by card.
- Beverages and snacks can also be paid for in cash, by card or via the open till.
- Pets are not allowed in the building or on the premises. We ask for your understanding.
- The nearest pharmacy is located in Wildberg.
- Information about the current pharmacy emergency service is available at the reception desk or online.
- Your pillow is not suitable? Simply contact the reception desk – we will find a solution.
- On our premises you will find, in addition to the large lawn, a playground with various equipment.
- An ideal place for children to let off steam. Please ensure that children are always supervised there.
- For groups, we offer various program modules that must be booked in advance.

- From 10:00 PM onwards, quiet hours apply in the building and on the premises.
- Please be considerate and adjust the volume accordingly.

- Opening hours:
- Monday–Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM
- Sundays and public holidays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Discover a selection of postcards and greeting cards, books and gift items at the reception desk.
- You can also get stamps there for a fee.
- A refrigerator for important medications and the like, as well as a microwave and kettle, are located in Café Kibbuz (1st floor Saron).
- If needed, the reception desk can also help you.
- Above the leisure center you will find our rock seating area - ideal for relaxing.
- Simply follow the signs between Haus Saron and Haus Zion.
- You will receive your room key at the reception desk upon arrival.
- Please return it and any borrowed items to the reception desk upon departure.
- In cooperation with Shape-Life, a creative coaching and design agency, we offer special program content.
- This includes, among other things, Promise-Land Lego, where biblical stories (e.g. the Exodus story) are told playfully with LEGO® sets.

- We are a non-smoking house. Smoking in the building and on balconies is not permitted.
- In case of violations, we reserve the right to charge for any damage.
- Smoking areas with ashtrays are located in front of the dining hall and in front of the conference room.
- If you need a taxi, you can get the number of a local company at the reception desk.

- Umbrellas are available in all entrance areas for rainy days.
- Please do not leave valuables unattended in your room. We assume no liability for this.
- Free WLAN is available throughout the building.
- You will find the password in your room on the back of the digital guest information, in the group rooms or at the reception desk.
