Saron is a very fertile and magnificent plain in Israel and is mentioned in the Bible at several places in the Old Testament (Song of Songs, 1 Chronicles, Isaiah) and in the New Testament (Acts). It extends from the Sea of Jaffa to Mount Carmel.
